Over 250 companies have committed to improve welfare standards for broilers in alignment with the European Chicken Commitment, which sets a baseline welfare standards for breed selection, space allocation, environmental enrichments, slaughter method, and third-party auditing.

As more and more companies sign up, they are looking to the Food Business team to help drive implementation of the new standards by exploring workable strategies and creative solutions for transitioning supply chains.

Compassion’s Broiler Forums bring together industry stakeholders to discuss the criteria required to ensure good welfare for broilers and to explore commercial supply chain solutions together. If you are interested in taking part, please contact the Food Business team.
