Basic requirements (including group housing of sows throughout pregnancy)
No tail docking
No teeth clipping
Provision of appropriate bedding and manipulable material throughout life
Handan Tianying Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. use a fermented bedding system for their weaned, growing and finishing pigs. Alfalfa which is grown at the front of the farm is used to provide pigs with manipulable materials and sows and boars with comfortable bedding.
