Dan McAlpine, Senior Food Business Manager
Daniel joined the CIWF team in December 2022 as a Senior Food Business Manager. He completed his MSc in Nutritional Epidemiology at Leeds Met in 2014 and has worked in the Technical and Process development teams of large multinationals such as Bakkavor.
In 2020 Daniel switched career path to head up the Food team at City Harvest, a charity that supports large businesses redirect their surplus food to charities around the UK.
Daniel looks forward to using his Food Industry, and Human Nutrition knowledge to approach, influence and strategise with businesses to change their farming practices for the better.
