Save the date for the 2011 Welfare Awards

This year, the Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards will be held on July 6th at the prestigious United Grand Lodge in Covent Garden.

We plan to offer awards in four main categories:

The Good Egg Awards (rewarding cage-free egg sourcing).
The Good Chicken Awards (rewarding higher welfare chicken sourcing).
The Supermarket Awards (based on the results of our Supermarket Survey).
Newly launched Good Dairy Awards (rewarding higher welfare for dairy cows and calves).

This year we aim to build on the success of last year’s event and provide more inspiration, support and recognition for products and initiatives which represent tangible benefits for farm animals and more choice for consumers.
