Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards 2024 logo

We are delighted to announce that our 2024 Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards ceremony will take place on Monday 21st October  at the Hyatt Place Paris Charles de Gaulle Aéroport.

This year's Awards ceremony coincides with the renowned SIAL tradeshow which takes place in Paris from October 19-23. With SIAL drawing food industry professionals from across the globe, its proximity offers our Food Business partners a convenient opportunity to attend both events. We look forward to your seeing you there!

As well as celebrating this year’s winners, the ceremony provides a perfect opportunity to network, share learnings and inspire companies to join the movement for a more humane and sustainable food system.

Host and Speaker

Deborah Meaden

We are delighted to welcome the highly successful business leader and investor Deborah Meaden as the host of this year’s ceremony, who said:

"I am delighted to be hosting Compassion's Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards ceremony this year. These awards shine a light on the growing number of companies dedicated to making positive change, at such a crucial time for farmed animals and the environment.

"To date, the higher welfare commitments of previous award winners are set to benefit over 2.6 billion animals annually. This marks an incredible step forward for industry and farmed animal welfare and is why I am proud to be part of this year's awards ceremony.

"With its specialist Food Business team, Compassion is uniquely positioned to guide and support companies in transforming the lives of millions of animals and building a food system that is fit for the future."

We are also honoured to welcome Pierre-Marie Aubert as our keynote speaker. As the director of the Agriculture & Food Policy Programme at IDDRI, Pierre-Marie brings a wealth of expertise in landscape ecology and political economy. His work focuses on developing food system scenarios that integrate biophysical, socio-economic, and political dimensions.
